As of January 1, 2026, a new era of leadership has begun at SZINORG Group. As part of a long-prepared generational transition, the previously unified role of President and CEO has been separated. From now on, Sándor Szabó assumes responsibility for the operational management as CEO, while former President and CEO Gyula Szűcs continues his work as Chairman of the Board, focusing on strategic leadership.
The leadership change was officially announced at a press conference held on January 14, 2026, in Debrecen, where Gyula Szűcs and Sándor Szabó jointly presented the background and objectives of the transition. The aim of this multi-year preparation process is to preserve SZINORG Group’s core values while ensuring sustainable growth and maintaining our adaptability in Debrecen’s and the region’s rapidly evolving economic environment.
Sándor Szabó, who has been actively involved in the company’s operations since 2022 as Deputy CEO and Board Member, emphasized four strategic pillars in his leadership program:
· optimizing the holding structure’s operations,
· maintaining a diversified real estate development portfolio (industrial halls, residential properties, hotels),
· reinforcing sustainability and ESG principles,
· developing human capital and attracting new talent.
SZINORG Group remains a key player in the real estate and construction markets of Debrecen and the Northeastern Hungary region. With our complex and integrated service structure, we prioritize value creation and quality.
Our goal is to realize a real estate development portfolio worth HUF 100 billion by 2030, contributing to the region’s economic growth, livability, and competitiveness.
