We are committed to sustainability and environmental protection, and are proud to support the tree planting programme of the city of Debrecen. As the winners of the Sustainable Debrecen Award, the aim of our group is to use every opportunity to make our city greener and more liveable.
We believe that a company should not only strive for business success, but also take responsibility for the community and the environment in which it operates. Harmonious coexistence between the industrial environment and nature is not only possible, but also necessary.
One of the key elements of the Green Code and the overall action programme is the tree planting programme in the city of Debrecen, the first milestone of which – the planting of 10,000 new trees – has been successfully completed. Tree planting is of paramount importance for a number of reasons and therefore we offered 150 trees to support the continuation of the programme.
Dehir – The programme to plant another 10,000 trees has started in Józsa
The tree planting programme will not only make everyday life more pleasant for the people living here, but will also contribute to the long-term ecological balance of our city and its wider environment. Among other things, trees clean the air, reduce noise pollution, provide cooling shade, and can cool the air on summer days. All these effects contribute to a more liveable urban environment.
The tree line we have planted runs from the boundary of Józsa to the road leading to the motorway junction in Józsa, which will result in this stretch of road also functioning as a green corridor.
The employees of SZINORG Group also actively participated in the planting of the trees as part of a team-building programme, so that through their efforts and those of the supporters of the programme – whether they be small or large companies, institutions, NGOs or groups of friends – with every tree planted we have made Debrecen an even greener, more sustainable and more liveable city.
We are proud to actively contribute to the sustainability goals of our city and to be part of an initiative that has a positive impact on both the community and the environment.
